Casio A220W-1QY 19 Sep 2007
By Alex M
You can always rely on casio to produce reliable, cheap watches and for around £15 this watch is no different. Stylish watch housing with nice clear screen and the usual features you'd expect although one draw back is that it is only water resistant, not waterPROOF to any depth so remember that if you plan to go swimming or even wash the car while wearing it. I'm not going to test mine to see just how water resistant it is as that would just be stupid. Alarm has a vibration feature and will buzz for around 10 seconds instead of an aubible alarm for 20 seconds which is a little different and may come in useful to some. Although it comes under the label of "Futurist" it looks kind of retro to me and the strap is one of the nicer ones i have seen, very comfortable and so far hasnt pulled many hairs out!! If it was waterproof i would have given a higher rating than 3/5.

Crap vibrating alarm 28 May 2010
The vibrating alarm only lasts a few seconds and is so soft that it wouldn't even wake me if I wasn't asleep. Don't buy this unless you wake up from fly blinking.

Good but not perfect 27 Mar 2011
By Mr C
Bought this watch for myself as I realised that I did not have one anymore having been reliant on my mobile phone for so long. Needed something with a discrete alarm on it and though that a vibrating one would be useful.

The display of the watch is clear as far as telling the time is concerned with easy to see numbers and a useful light. The watch is stylish also and looks smart.

The 3 things that I stopped short of giving it 5 stars for are as follows:

1. Why have a watch with a discrete vibrating alarm that beeps when you press a button? If you try to set the alarm discretely, the watch beeps every time you press a button. What's the point in that?
2. The symbols along the bottom of the readout that indicate the mode that the watch is in are very difficult to make out.
3. 1/5th of the face is taken up by a plate that says 'FUTURIST' and 'VIB ALARM'. Perhaps having a bigger LCD screen and a smaller plate would enable symbols to be made bigger and be more easily seen by the user.

Other than that, a great watch.
