I remember some one saying long ago, that when the Beatles broke up "now it means that I'll get four records a year instead of one"
This thinking can be applied to Squeeze to a certain extent. Now we get two high quality records at a time from both Difford and Tillbrook. While nothing would make me happier than to see them work together again, the level of quality that they bring to their work comes close to compensating, and this record is no exception. Difford makes no concesstions to trends, just makes beautiful melodic pop music, just as he has done in one way shape or form for over thirty years. Here's to another thirty...at the very least. If you like good music, you'll like this record, plain and simple.
