This one improves on the old design by featuring extra pockets embedded into the front cover and an organiser system whereby you can remove and re-order each individual 'page' - a fantastic time saver when, say, adding to DVD collections of TV series.
It also comfortably holds thinner CD booklets in the same pocket as the disc, or 2 CDs in the same pocket without stretching. This wouldn't be advisable for discs being used regularly but my old wallet shows no signs of stretching or loosening pockets when I've stored, say, "special features" discs (which I may never use) 2-deep.
Size-wise, it's comparable to a lever arch folder but a fair bit thicker. It'll easily fit into your average suitcase or suitcase-style hand baggage but it is quite heavy when filled with discs.
Overall it's a neat and relatively compact way to store and organise large CD/DVD/ROM collections which has the added bonus of being very easy to grab and take to a friend's place (even if that's in another country!) or give to visitors to leaf through and choose a movie to watch.
Strong zips, durable material, non scratch inners ..makes knackered discs a thing of the past.
Our daughter who was raised from the outset to look after her collection from the age of 30 months only ever scratched discs upon placing them in the dvd cases & dropping them getting them out... therefore taught to hold by the centre ring & slide them in & out of the case we have never had to replace a kids dvd or cd.
These actualy save you money in disc slippage if you teach them to care about their films & music from the word go.
Recommended to all, well padded even suffered the occasional being stood on & often thrown across the room (onto furniture not hard floors) never incurred any damage, well designed & fit for purpose unlike some cheaper brands we've experienced.
UPDATE: I've upped my rating of this to 5 stars because I've had it for nearly a year now and it's still fine.
It is sturdy and has lasted me years. 6 years so far!
I have just brought another as its so good.

Excellent quality case - not, as some have described on here, much worse than they used to be. Pretty much the same as always and still as functional.Published 3 months ago by deangsmith
This is my second purchase of this product. I have had the first one for a couple of years, without any problems. I only bought another because I needed extra storage space. Read morePublished 4 months ago by Mr. J. R. Done
