Provides very useful extra battery life and a protective skin.Can Sync while iphone installed in case and does not add too much weight or size! Only reason not 5 star ia will not charge iPhone back to full tho comes close, still a great little accessory.

A nice object, velvety rubber and a smooth fit around the iphone 3. However, as mentioned elsewhere the extra charge it gives is limited, while it does add bulk and weight. The fact it doesn't use the iphone connector but a mini-USB forces you to use a different cable to charge it, and to take off the cover to put it in a dock. As a result for me it is therefore more useful as a back-up charge, to carry around with you separately in your bag, rather than a cover to always keep on your iphone.

After receiving this product, initially I was fairly impressed with the build quality and the features included. The extra talk time provided by the case seemed to be adequate. Once I was into the second week of using the product, the case stopped working. The seller promptly sent a replacement case and I assumed the new one would be fine. This time the battery life seemed to be better and the power button seemed to be of better quality than on the first case. Like the first item, the second gave up after about a week. This time I am going to return the item and ask for a full refund. I would not recommend this to anyone that wants to buy this case.

case mate fuel lite case 3g black
As read on a previous review mine has also stopped working after a few weeks. While it was working it was very useful. Almost impossible to extract phone from case. Read more

Very good in a pinch
Getting about an extra 1.5 hours out of it... A little difficult getting the phone out of the case, that part take some practice
