This is a neat case that pleasingly snaps straight into place. It gives an attractive, but wafer thin, cover to the back and sides of the iPhone4 - while leaving all the phone's features, and even the Apple logo, fully visible. It feels plastic - but somehow in a slightly rubberised way - and actually makes the phone feel better in the hand than it does with no cover. Pretty near perfection if you want something that gives protection while adding no significant weight or bulk. It also maintains the iPhone's good looks.
Slightly less pleasing is the screen protector, which comes as a separate piece. It is actually a peel-off transparent film. This has the merits of maintaining the slim styling, and will protect the screen from scratching, but obviously offers much less if the phone took a hard knock head on. If you follow the instructions to the letter then attaching the protector is not as annoying as it at first appears. But - as you smooth out the air bubbles with the little cloth (supplied) - you may ask yourself for a moment if life is a bit too short for such precision activities.
On balance it isn't - just. After all, who wouldn't give such loving attention to an object of such desire?
