Absolutely GREAT 20 Jun 2013

It is exactly the right size for weekends with the grandkids. The ebag I have carried for years was getting to heavy to carry and this bag rolls easily. It arrived within three days and was packaged above and beyond what was necessary. Thanks to the seller.

Great luggage -- for carry-on. Not made for checking 6 Jan 2013
By Jared M. Stein - Published on Amazon.com
I've logged over 100k airline miles in the last year, and have enjoyed the size and weight of this luggage. I receive regular comments praising the look and shape.

And On several occasions when a stewardess has said, "Sorry, the overheads are all full"; It's nice to know your bag may still (if barely) fit under the seat!

The single -- and deal breaker weakness for me is the fact that the bag has no rubberized protective corners on the lid. This means that it can't take the abuse of checking it. The fabric is relatively thin, inviting tears, and The edges and corners quickly fray, diminishing the look. After maybe a dozen checks the metal frame bursts free, leaving the lid almost useless.

If I never checked this bag (and I invariably do on multi-leg flights), this would easily be a four star review.

Good choice 14 Dec 2012

It's just the right size- nice area for my laptop, enough room for whatever I want to keep with me, easy to roll through the airport.
So far it's been a very worthwhile purchase 8 Jun 2014
By Craig Becker (beckers@bga.com) - Published on Amazon.com
I picked this up from Fry's at the last minute for a week-long business trip. I paid about $80 for it. Admittedly, the real test will be to see how the bag holds up after a year's use, but my initial impression after just my single trip (w/ four flight legs) is highly positive. I hate to check luggage and so I've learned to pack lightly; with this bag I can carry everything I need for a week in a single carry-on bag plus a 'personal item'.

Pros:

- It's just the right size that the airline personnel didn't hit me up to check the bag at the gate - as I tend to carry a fair amount of electronic stuff with me when I travel, this is a good thing.

- It fit nicely and easily into the overhead luggage compartment of every plane. It also worked well as 'under the seat' luggage.

- This is my first rolling bag in many years, and I'm not sure why I didn't get one sooner. They simply make travel so much easier. The rollers on this bag seem fairly sturdy, but again, the real test will be after a year's use. I just gave them a quick post-trip inspection and they're scuffed up but otherwise in pretty good shape.

- Zippers, wheels, handles, etc; everything seems very solid and well-made. There's a small handle at the bottom between the wheels that makes the bag easy to manipulate.

Cons:

- The telescoping handle could be a little 'sticky' at times. Not a big deal.

- The 'laptop compartment' is pretty tight. My main workstation is a Lenovo W530, which is just under 16", and it fit quite poorly. I ended up just putting my laptop in the main compartment with my clothes and leaving the 'laptop compartment' empty.

- With a laptop computer in the bag - especially in the 'laptop compartment' - the balance is a bit tricky, and the bag had a tendency to fall over onto the laptop side. I got to where I learned to lean the bag against a wall or something to keep it upright.

- Perhaps it is simply my lack of practice with roller bags, but the bag seems just barely wide enough to be able to negotiate the aisle of a jet airplane, ie, it had a tendency to bump / snag on the seats as I made my way on or off of the aircraft.

Overall, the bag was well worth what I paid for it. The "Cons" I listed above are largely nits, although I may look to see if I can find a 'big brother' version of this bag that better accommodates my laptop computer.
