I bought this to be used with my D700. It's easy to install.
However, the mesh padding is similar to those you find on the back of rucksacks. It's very rough, doesn't breath well, and very uncomfortable. The mesh is probably very durable and hard wearing, I have this type of mesh on my rucksac's straps and back. Those mesh layer is still going strong after 3 years of daily use. However, there is at least one layer of clothes between my skin and rucksack straps, where as this camera hand strap make direct contract with skin. I wouldn't bother with this strap unless you wear gloves when you shoot.

Also, this hand strap is not very secure. The standard SLR strap wrapped around the wrist is more secure and convenient.

I am a big fan of Case Logic products but this one needs improvement.
The strap is too short ( and I don't have big hands), I had to set to maximum length but it felt too tight.

Also the screw on the bottom needs looking at: you cannot put a camera on a table, flat surface as the knob is too big.
I have a Cotton Carrier strap and the bottom bit is flat so no problems in leaving my camera on a flat surface.

I wouldn't feel 100% comfortable relying on this for a heavy camera! I put this on a big Canon 70d and even though the strap helps, it's just that, a little help. Also it's worth noting that on a big camera you have to extend the strap as far as it will go and it plays on your mind that it just may give way.

The quality of the grip is fantastic. It fits my Canon 650d nicely, though it can no longer stand upright since the screw protrudes from the bottom but this was expected and it does not bother me at all!!

The only problem with the handle is the screw, it has two screwable parts and when I've tried to unscrew the handle to put on a tripod a part got stuck on the mount.
The rest is well build.
