4.0 out of 5 stars Good but My Wenger is Better 23 April 2014
By Amazon Customer VINE VOICE
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
I prefer the Wenger backpack that I have but having said that this is a different type of design. Basically the main section is a large section, much bigger than any other (unlike the Wenger). This is closed like a a duffle bag and I suspect the view is that what goes in here stays packed up rather that opened up for rooting for other stuff. To offset this there are some zipped pockets all over the backpack including the base, the top, the back and the front. Tickets, maps phones etc can be put in these. Good comfortable straps and not too bulky. One use that this scores over the Wenger is that it can be used for an overnight stay because of the biggish pocket. Not sure it would ever be worth the RRP of 70+ but at around 40, I'd say it is.

5.0 out of 5 stars The ultimate in backpack storage... 22 April 2014
By C. FULLER TOP 50 REVIEWER VINE VOICE
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
This Case Logic Griffith Park Backpack certainly lives up to the description. The possibilities for storage are most considerable. It is possible to store safely a large laptop 15.6 inches and a 10.1 inch tablet and then go on to use the many remaining spaces for everything you would need for a day out or few days away. Volume 1709cu in/ 28l. The zips are good quality as are the snap shut clips. The back padding is quite thick but not too weighty. Overall the weight 0.8 kg is less than I expected which is a good starting position. Once you add the contents it is still not overweighty. The bag comes with a 25 years quality guarantee. Top end pricing for a high quality bag.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfy and Capacious! 21 May 2014
By J. S. Bundy VINE VOICE
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
This back pack is very comfy, with wide padded straps that are easily adjusted. There is an added strap across the front to give extra support when the pack is heavily laden.

There are plenty of compartments, ranging from the usual lap top pocket to a zip pocket on the bottom. There is a small zip compartment on the top, could be useful for a travel card, and a large stationary pocket on the front. I admit I blow hot and cold over the drawstring sleeve at the opening to the main storage area, at first it seemed like a bit of a bind, but having used it on a wet day, on a crowded train I appreciated the protection and potential added security it gave me.

Its a good size and would easily pass as cabin baggage on some of our fussier budget airlines. It was also roomy enough to take, amongst other thing, a hard hat!

My only slight reservations are, that the side pockets have zips, and are not open, so not too useful for the ubiquitous water bottle. And I think its a little over priced, by ten pounds or so. However, its a good looking, comfy, practical bag. Better than a lot on the market.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good rucksack for a few days away........ 26 April 2014
By mandynolan TOP 1000 REVIEWER VINE VOICE
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
I like this rucksack...It looks good and is comfortable to wear on your back....

PROS
1. Will fit a 15 inch laptop and a tablet inside at the same time...there is a padded pocket...
2. Has room for a few days clothes
3. Has a pocket on the top, the front, the bottom and the two sides...the top one would fit a map/phone, the bottom one a map, the front one a phone, passport, wallet, keys etc and the two sides would fit small bottles....
4. It has a carry handle on the top..
5.It closes inside in a traditional rucksack way...so you can stuff a bit more inside...
6. The back straps are comfortable...

CONS
1. The inner closure may not suit everyone....see the picture to see what I mean...
2. I think a tablet and a laptop at the same time may be pushing it for breakages...
3. The side pockets could be higher...
4. Some people...with bigger shoulders may not find it comfortable enough....

Overall though...Its pretty good...looks good and holds lots....great for cabin luggage or for a weekend away....

5.0 out of 5 stars Smart and useful 18 May 2014

Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
Modern and trendy looking - I have had much admiration for this backpack! Most importantly though you can get a 15" laptop and a tablet in this very comfortably, and also have room for a water bottle, wallet, phone... pretty much your average day to day essentials all fit in here. The zips feel good quality and sturdy, so unlikely to break with normal use for a long time. The whole thing is well designed and excellent quality. It has adequate back padding so it doesn't feel hard or sweaty against your body, and despite this, it is maybe the lightest backpack I've ever come across. I think this is worth the money - a wise purchase that will last for years.

A nice sized well constructed rucksack with plenty of small compartments for a variety of items. Ample space for laptop or tablet which would be well protected by padding. Ideal for a student or business person on the move. 9/10

3.0 out of 5 stars Good for long journeys 13 May 2014

Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
This is a good laptop bag if you are trekking a long way and do not need ready access to the laptop. It is very secure but it is not easy to unpack the laptop for instant use, i.e. it's quite fiddly putting the machine in the bag and then retrieving. A good quality backpack nether-the-less

4.0 out of 5 stars Light and capacious 9 May 2014
Verified Purchase
I was looking for a laptop bag for a 15" Mac Book Pro with room for a change of clothes (allows a 2 day trip with one overnight).

Nick and light and just big enough.
The laptop pocket is open at the top so the laptop is retained (with your other stuff) when the draw string at the top of the bag is pulled tight. It might be useful if there was something else to stop the laptop sliding out if you are rummaging in your stuff. The handle on top is a bit narrow (60mm) for comfort.
