Product Description

Synopsis

Examines the nature of the afterlife as it is revealed through the near-death experiences of more than fifty people from all walks of life. Author Mally Cox-Chapman documents the accounts of the 'experiencers', and examines the significance of their revelations. Three out of four Americans say they believe in Heaven. Even more surprising, a recent Gallup poll reports that eight million Americans have had a near-death experience that they believe confirms the reality of Heaven. Objectively researched, intelligently organised, and persuasively written, The Case for Heaven addresses tough questions many people are afraid to discuss. Written with the expectation that readers will come to a better understanding of the nature of Heaven and death itself.

I read this book as a very dear friend was dying. While I still felt great sadness at the loss, I no longer felt any fear for her- I just knew my wonderful friend Grace was in a place/state of all-encompassing love. The cross-cultural reseach was very readable and astonishing at times, and the anecdotes were terrific and powerful (especially the "red shoe on the roof" story.) The lessons learned that these people "brought back" stuck with me... a powerful book

"The man and I walked together. The place that we walked on was a path and there were flowers on both sides. The colours were very vivid, not even as you see colours in the world. They were very bright. The sky was blue but I have never seen such as colour blue. There was a communication of feelings of love or something so much greater."

There are who have gone through many people who have gone through near death experiences, but have been afraid to tell others. The sense that people may think they are `kooky' or that they would not be believed in all seriousness. Mally Cox-Chapman has written this book to give us a better understanding of "near-deaf experiences" and how they were experienced by those who were sick and entered death's door, yet recovered, because it was not "their time." These people the Experiences are not just Christian or God fearing people, but a very good mixture of religious and also non religious ones, even atheists are amongst them.
The Case for Heaven delves into what NDE* reveal about:-
Heaven and what it is like.
If we will see people we love.
We learn too what Experiencers saw in the way of Angels, Guides and Spirits of Light,
Be assured that you will look at things in a brand new light.............for there is so much food for thought in this book and you will, I am certain never feel the same way about deaf again. There is so much to know.

I started to read this book when my mother was dying. I can honestly say it is one of the only things that pulled me through when she died. I know that my mother is safe and happier now than she has ever been before.
Thanks Mally Cox-Chapman!

I found this book comforting at the time of losing a loved one. The accounts suggest to me that there is more to this world than what we experience with our senses and that there is a force for good, in my view, God which we can hold on to.
