I couldn't believe how realistic this was, put your pretend jacket potato in, push the on button, and it lights up and turns round on the turntable and sounds just like a microwave and even pings when the timers ran out and switches off. Brilliant...keeps kids busy for ages. Very sturdy as it kept falling off the pretend kitchen bunker and still works 3 years on. Batteries last for ages. Good fun toy.

I was extremely dissatisfied with my purchase of the Casdon 492 Delonghi microwave. After waiting for 2 whole days for it to arrive I was simply horrified by the events that took place once I opened the packaging. (I would recommend scissors for this particular task).
At first I was puzzled by the plastic food items received with the Casdon 492 Delonghi microwave but I assumed it was some sort of novelty gift and gave them to my cats as a play toy.
After inserting the batteries as instructed I assumed things would be simple from there on in. I was wrong.
After an hour of trying to work out the dials, and a further 3 hours cooking the food I was disappointed to find my beans and mash still cold.
It was at this point I knew something was not right.
After further research in the matter I came to the conclusion that this product is in fact a toy.
I would not advise anyone wishing to purchase this product to read the small print. I found the product to be extremely misleading and I imagine many others have made the same simple mistake as I have.
However every cloud has a silver lining and as far as toy microwaves go this has been outstanding. I will not be returning this product because for the hours of entertainment value alone the Casdon 492 Delonghi microwave has been top notch.
If I had to recommend this product it would be mainly for small children and cat enthusiasts.

Looks and works like a real microwave without actually cooking anything. Even has a removeable turntable. Granddaughter 5 loves it as it looks like the one in their house. Even mum was impressed. Good value for money

Bad Product!
