5.0 out of 5 stars Great buy 26 May 2009
Durability: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
My 2 year old loves this - We are a car fanatic family, so naturally he wanted to "drive" mummys car all the time and would cry when he couldn't! Now he can help me drive everywhere. Great for role playing and for the money I think it is well worth it. I don't use the bottom leg part (keeps coming out) but it sticks to window fine without it. Other reviews have stated that it isn't very durable, but for under a tenner what do you expect?? Only other issue (maybe it's just me!) is getting the keys in can be tricky as the steering wheel covers the hole. Over all, my son loves it and we have no more tears when wanting to go out somewhere!

3.0 out of 5 stars Fragile - With care 17 Jun 2008

Durability: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
My lad thinks it is great....but only since I repaired the mounting points and brackets.

It's made of that pathetically weak cheap plastic, so a slight knock (it's a kids toy, for heavens sake) can break it....right in a position that is a pain to fix.

As for fun....he loves it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and nasty but great fun for a little one.. 10 April 2009
Durability: 2.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
My daughter was desparate to drive our car, trouble is she's only 18 months old so Backseat driver seemed like a good idea.

The product if fairly cheaply made, one of the buttons stuck in and the bracket on the back falls out easily. I took it apart and sanded the sticky button and a little masking tape on the bracket lugs makes it fit nice and tight now.

As for it's "playability" it's really good, my daughter loves it. It makes alot of noise but you can always take the batteries out when enough is enough.!!

Construction rating is low but fun factor is high.

I'd still recommend it though, mainly as there's no alternative.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is rubbish - dont buy it! 21 Sep 2010

This is utterly rubbish. I bought it and my 22 month old son broke it within the first 2 minutes in the car. I have not been able to fix it in a way that last longer than 2 minutes. It is simply not fit for the purpuse it was designed for.

4.0 out of 5 stars noise help 2 Dec 2009
Durability: 2.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
for all you parents out there who cant turn the volume down on toys i have an idea yous can try. simply stick sellotape over the "speaker" part of the toy, that way the child can still hear the noise but its not so much in-your-face. hope it helps!

Don't buy this. The suckers don't stick to the window and there is no way to anchor this to the floor.

Durability: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 2.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I brought this product for my grandson to keep him occupied whilst in the car, he absolutley loves it, and the fact that he can use it freestanding in the home also is a bonus, the electronic noises keep him occupied and he loves it to bits

5.0 out of 5 stars Best buy for ages! 22 Aug 2013

After giving away a hardly used steering wheel toy my son had to the charity shop, I was looking for something a bit more useable to get him, to teach him some driving skills(!) & keep him busy in the back of the car. I was not disappointed with this! Previous reports have said its a bit flimsy but I really haven't found this to be true. Its been thrown in the car on numerous journeys, stuck to the patio doors at home & is really one of his favourite toys. Plus my 2 year old seems to have grasped the face that the brakes slow you down, the gear change lets you go faster & the hooter makes people move out of the way. Yes its noisy, but less noisy than a bored toddler!
10/10!

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly designed
I found the product awkward to use in the back seat, especially with a car seat. I wished I'd returned it as I wasn't happy with it. A waste of money!
