Video Description
Loaded with gore, bloody torture and one of the most daringly shocking scenes ever filmed, Carver is the ultimate tale of terror. In exchange for free drinks, five twenty-somethings on holiday at a secluded campground agree to help out the town tavern owner. This leads the group to the barkeep's eerie shack where curiosity gets the better of them and they ransack a chest full of old 8mm slasher movies. Unaware that these flicks are actually gut-wrenching snuff films, the quintet unwittingly become the newest stars in the sinister exploits of a deranged psycho killer.


Synopsis
Inspired by actual events, this gruesome slasher film follows a group of young campers on a trip to a remote mountain range. The five friends make a deadly mistake when they take an alternative route and end up being stalked by an unhinged clan of homicidal locals.

Was told by a friend to view this good little horror film. Covers old ground, TCM, HHEyes, Hostel etc... but hey, dont they all these days. 5 twenty-something go camping in the hills, take wrong journey, and decide to help out in an old shack, well bar, to get free drinks. Curosity killed the cat !!

What you have here, is not a bad little film. If you love your gore, torture and plenty of gooo, this one is for you ! I have to say, there is one part in the film that surprised me that the Sensors passed it !! We watch the old Video nasties, and wonder what all the fuss was about now, but this particular scene is very painful and for some will find it uncomfortable viewing; wont give the scene away.

For the reviewist who only gave it 1 star and stated that it is all cheap special effects, I dont know what you were watching ??? The only fault of this film, is it is not fast paced, somewhat a little slow at the beginning, but once the guy goes into the outside toilet the second time, that's where the film really picks up.

Because Amazon was selling this film at half price, that is why I purchased it. For those with a stronger stomach, give this ago, yawn the first half an hour, but get a bag the second half.

Totally suprised after all the so called slasher films of late. An excellent attempt I thought. If you are looking for gore and tip top effects then you cant go wrong here. The first 20 mins is a little slow to be fair but once the guy goes to the outside loo then off we go... You'll understand if you watch the movie. I know some people are going to slate it but I think some will love it. A very enthusiatic 2 thumbs up !

worst 'horror' film I have ever seen, I can only imagine the person who gave this dog muck 4stars must have either been involved in the making or knew someone from the cast! I love a good horror/slasher film, I have had my fair share of cheering on the bad guy and the good guy but this film is so lame! The 'gore' is terrible you can clearly tell it is an animal carcass, no suspense, everything is laid right in front of you and the cast wow they are so bad I never ever wanted the 'good' guys to get killed so badly! Two of the cast (the couple) are so annoying with there were so cool,funny and loved up bull, the two brothers are saddos one of whom looks like he needs a number two maybe the director didnt allow toilet breaks?!?!? The most gross scenes in the film are two toilet shots is down right yuk turned my stomach! The end is laughable it just keeps going, its like the director didnt want the film to end YES I FINISHED THE FILM SHOCKING!!!!! But I felt I need to see it though for my views to be valid. The film feels like a yankee straight out of uni who studied film made this and thinks its amazing GIVE YOUR CAMERA AWAY NOW PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANYMORE OF THIS TRIPE!!!!!!!!!
If you want an excellent suspense thriller, horror, gore fest I strongly suggest trying SWITCHBLADE ROMANCE is everything you could want in a sicko film!
