This is probably one of the best home teaching manuals available. Anyone with any desire to draw or just doodle will be amazed at how this seemingly "gifted" art can come to life at your own fingertips.

I am an illustrator/teacher and I've been using this book since 9th grade, I am now 27 years old and still use it. A fantastic source for cartoonists of any age.

As someone who has no training in art, but still wanted to do cartoons I learned a lot from this book. My teenage son also has successfully used it to draw cartoons for his school paper. We have also referred to it when making our own little cartoons instead of using stock clip art when we want to add a personal touch to newsletters etc.. We simply make a little drawing, and scan it in.
