2.0 out of 5 stars Carte Blanche....... unfinished business?, 28 Jan 2007
By Side Bottom "SB" (Lancashire, UK) - See all my reviews
Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
Carte Blanche will leave you feeling somewhat empty. Just as the game starts to get really interesting, it ends. I took around 3 and a half hours to finish it, and even then the biggest story is left open ended until episode two (on which i can find no information).

The dialogue in the game will keep you entertained until you find yourself repeated visiting locations, asking the same things over and over until the right character is found, and you can then progress. I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't for the heafty price.

If the game had been a tenner then there would be little to complain about, but for around £[...], i would leave it alone.

All this being said, if the developers learn from their short comings, then episode 2 could be better value for money.

In short only buy this game if you can find it cheap.
