Carrie Weston was born in Kent in 1966, the year that England won the World Cup. She remains a huge football fan. After completing her first degree at Warwick University she taught in schools in London and worked in Educational Psychology before completing a PhD in Scotland in 2007. She began writing when her children were young and still finds creative writing the best way to relax after a hard day. Carrie's "Boris" series is published in 17 languages around the world.
