This is such a brilliant sitcom!! being a big neil morrissey fan i was delighted to see him in something instantly likeable and hilarious, another work of art from the writer simon nye! Neil (barry) plays his usual 'tony' from men behaving badly character but as a mature...ish dad and husband character, and carrie plays the stepmum role to his daughter, the script is very original and funny, if you like 'men behaving badly' and 'my family' then this is definitely for you, they get up to all sorts, you cant not like this! i went and saw this show being recorded and saw all the bits that went wrong and was delighted to find the 'out-takes' section, which is just as funny!!

I like Neil Morrisey in Waterloo Rd but I have to say Men Behaving Badly got on my wick a bit so if you are not a fan then don't buy it as its much of the same in many respects.Okay,I should have known as the writer and producer are the same as MBB but for under four quid its watchable.
The Carrie character was a bit too Dorothyish for me but I loved Kirk played by Mark Williams from The Fast Show.

Love this dvd! I'm from Holland and loved Men behaving badly so after reading some of the reviews bought Carrie & Barry. I watched two episodes and am already loving it! Great alternative for all the reallife rubish that is (re)played each summer in Holland. And, being Dutch :), I really like the price of this dvd.

I didnt watch carrie and barry yet but I bought it because I loved his work I mean of course neil in men behaving badly so this guy is really funny

Carrie & Barry-Series 1
Extremely funny!!! There's only about 7 minutes out of the entire DVD where there isn't a laugh. I have to say I think it's the best British sitcom ever produced!
