Excellent Account of Carrick Scotland 19 Jan 2010

This book definitely goes beyond the tourist guides. It compiles flora, fauna, history, geology, geneology and archaeology in a well written and researched framework. Tourist or not it is well worth the read.

This book is an excellent read. It is so much more than a tourist guide. Has much information on Carrick I would never have known without reading. Great pictures too. A lovely gift for anyone who loves Scotland or wants to learn more about the area.

Excellent book.Very interesting read from front to back.Has plenty of information on Carrick and surrounding area.The pictures brought back plenty of memory's from the past.I recommend this book for anyone interested this corner of Scotland.
