Carol O'Connor

Carol O'Connor was born in Boston, Mass and now lives in London UK. More than 20 years ago, she founded Vision in Practice Ltd., a consultancy service to teach leadership, strategic thinking and team building to business leaders around the world.

Education is her lifelong interest and her entire career focused on supporting people develop their potential. Although this work is based on experience, she also received a PhD in educational psychology from the University of California.

An author of seven books on business topics, Carol's company will also soon publish a series of business guides directed to young readers from developing nations. The first of these, 'Starting a Business' will be tested in a pilot study in Kenya during 2012, then revised and translated into Swahili. The next topic in the series will be 'Starting a Chicken Farm', forthcoming in 2013.
