This book is predominantly about sexual abuse of children with its long-term consequences and therapeutic aspects. It is couched in the arena of broader social comment. It is in two parts: the first is presented as fiction and the second is a number of relevant submissions and essays. The main author, Mirabelle Maslin, is a therapist of many years' experience. The final essay was written by a psychiatrist - Dr W N Taylor.
About the Author
Mirabelle Maslin was born in Birmingham in 1947, and moved to Bramhall, Cheshire in 1952. She studied agriculture at Reading University, after which she worked in scientific research near Edinburgh until the birth of her three children - two sons and a daughter. Since then she has spent more than twenty years helping people with emotional and relationship problems, together with providing nutritional advice where appropriate.
