This just doesn't fulfill it's promise - the commentary can be a bit hard to follow (I'm not a native English speaker but I can get along very fine in real life) - they just don't speak very clearly. Also, the format doesn't seem to come to live - you see quite a few riders fall off, and the commentators go no further than saying that it's the bike's fault, or something as short as that. you just don't learn from this dvd (as promised by the commentators at the beginning).
In short: waste of moneys. Avoid.

I've got Foggys other DVDs and was looking forward to watching this over Christmas, I managed about 15 mins. The crash footage is interesting, but Foggy & Withams commentary is as dull as ditchwater. virtually all the explanations for the crashes seemed to be "don't know what happened there..." and the two presenters slobbing on a sofa muttering to each other as if they'd had a couple of beers and it was a dull sunday afternoon.
I may try to watch the rest of it, but I'll have to fast forward past F & W or my brain may melt through boredom.

Back in the day I really enjoyed Foggy and Whits racing styles and I could talk to Jim Whitham for ages without getting bored, I like his sense of humour, so I have a slightly biased opinion. This DVD is mildly amusing!
If you are/were a fan of these two, then get this to add to the shelf. It is somewhat entertaining watching the action and listening to Jim, however Carl is, quite clearly, purely a racer and it is easy to see why Jim is currently all over tv coverage of road bike racing.
Bare in mind, there are plenty of tv shows that have all this 'crash/saved it' action in them and you can listen to Jims wisdom-flooded commentary most weekends throughout the warmer months. So what you must consider is - are you going to be entertained by this and do you really need educating about racing lines and braking points. If you do then may I suggest you do a few track days and an advanced rider course before you even think about going out on the road, you really should already know this stuff!
