5.0 out of 5 stars a must for any medical library 7 Jun 2000
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
I found this book very informative about many aspects of day-to day care of muslim patients which even as a muslim I was ignorant of to some extent. So, it should be invaluable for a any non-muslim clinician who as any contact with muslim patients. In the UK there must be very few clinicians who do not fall into these category. It is well researched and offers guidance and the reasons behind it. I recommend it whole heartedly.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK 23 Jan 2014

I used this book for a nursing class. It is a completely subjective guide to providing care in a hospital setting. I think cultural competency manuals available online from an australian hospital system provided as much information that was in this book. The pamphlet is free.
