Product Description

The Caribbean just got a whole lot hotter ...

Rescued from a sadistic torturer, Turpin and his hell-raising friends race to save the woman that two of them love. When kidnapping turns to murder they are forced into a perilous seagoing chase ahead of an approaching tropical storm. The storm isn’t the only problem. With the fate of an island at stake and revenge at hand, the only thing capable of putting to sea is the infamous Lucky Lady … an ancient schooner that is little more than a floating bar.

Packed with offbeat characters, this novel will appeal to anyone who dreams of life in the Caribbean and adventures on the high seas.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great nautical adventure! 29 Jan 2012
By Helayne - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Gary has been a sailor since his teenage years and brings his knowledge of sailing to life in this very well written fictional thriller. It was enjoyable to read because it was easy to visualize every scene in detail. Caribbean High's sea-going chases, trekking through island jungles, and lustful encounters keeps the reader begging for more. I was sad to finish the book and am looking forward to reading his next one. Kudos to Gary!

5.0 out of 5 stars Action Packed Adventure 23 May 2010
By BDAnderson - Published on Amazon.com

It is as if James Bond becomes a Sea Gypsy and retires to the Caribbean! Packed with humorous ribald partying, a wide assortment of corruption and evil, strong and lasting friendships with love lost, and a frightening tropical storm, Gary Brown's novel is a perfect way to dig your feet into the sand, fill a bucket with cold beers, and read. Or position your favorite reading chair near the fireplace where ever you live, and dream of the Caribbean.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exhausted! 20 May 2010
By Polly - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
What an exciting read, a real page turner! Sailor or not you are going to enjoy this fast paced adventure. The author obviously knows the Caribbean, you have to wonder how much of this is autobiographical, if it is this guy has certainly led an interesting life! Hope these characters are set to appear again, I for one, will be looking for a sequel. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
