Brought this book as am total novice in the care of rabbits and my daughter wants one. I wasn't dissapointed. Clearly written, well laid out and you know that it is correct information as is written by RSPCA. Have also got the tropical fish book by RSPCA.

a really good, basic guide to keeping your first pet rabbit. probably a little too much information on all of the different breeds but lots of sound advice on housing, feeding and keeping a pet rabbit responsibly.
it's worded so that children as well as adults can understand what it means to be a responsible pet owner.

This is a very good source of information for the basics of caring and for the welfare of rabbits. Because this is provide by the RSPCA it has the minimal suggestions for the size of the rabbits habitat. This book has up to date information and is easily assessable with no jargon or complicated information.

Readers do need to bare in mind this is and was meant to be basic and all the information regarding the welfare concerning habitat size were minimal as the book says the bigger the habitat the better.

It is important to do further research to gather more information as this just covers the basics

This is a good start book for kids, with basic knowledge. Adults would probably prefer a more substantial book to expand upon the information.
