This is the story of Cardiff City's 100 years as a professional football club. It tells of highs such as three FA Cup final appearances, a European Cup Winners Cup semi-final and numerous promotions, but also of lows as the club were forced to apply for re-election in 1934 just seven years after winning the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium. The resumption of league football after WW2 saw some glory regained as they twice won promotion to the top flight but on each occasion they were relegated and would go on to spend many seasons hovering between the bottom divisions. In 2003 they were promoted to the Championship after a play-off victory at the Millennium Stadium, five years later they reached the FA Cup final, while in 2010 they were on the brink of promotion to the Premier Division with yet another Wembley appearance. Many famous players have appeared in Bluebirds colours over the years and every international player with the club is recorded along with all the managers and complete statistics of every League, FA Cup, League Cup and Welsh Cup line-up as Cardiff City celebrate 100 years of professional football.

Excellent book full of facts and figures regarding Cardiff City .It also charts the clubs rise from Formation to the present day .A great read that has been well put together

I purchased this for my husband to read but it has loads of match results instead of reading so was very disappointed with the amount of actual reading.
