Inspirational! 5 Oct 2011
Format:Paperback
This book is fantastic, both my 3 year old & 5 year old love it. A simple and easy to follow story with fantastic illustrations. It has inspired creativity too as my boys are both insisting we now make our own cardboard robots. All my friends & family with kids under 5 will definitely be getting a copy of one the Monkey & Robot books for Christmas!

A gorgeously illustrated tale of friendship and fun. My four year old loved it and really enjoyed making his own cardboard robot following the instructions at the back. A brilliant series - can't wait for the next one.

This is the second Monkey and Robot book, and my daughter (nearly 3) has enjoyed it immensely. Monkey and Robot are lovely characters - cheeky, funny and my toddler could easily relate to them. I love the illustrations and the simple but amusing story, so have not minded reading this one again and again.
I have found both Monkey and Robot books a nice length for my toddler's bedtime stories, and as this series of books are so new, good to get as birthday gifts, without worrying that you are giving one that they already have (always a risk with the favourites such as Julia Donaldson books and other kids' bestsellers)
