This books a good book for kids to read,I bought it for fun to see what a young adult star trek book was like.The artwork on the cover is quite colourful and very well drawn which is atractive too.Theres pictures every so often as you read along in the book helping kids or whoever reads the book an imagination or just adding to the story in a diffrent way.Garak from ds9 appears in the book on a few occasions and is a key part of the story,but its mainly about Jake and Nog,which is should be of course.Id definetly recomend the book to any young fan of star trek or especily if there a deep space nine fan.Its keeps the reader excited the hole way through and thats what any1 wants from a book.its cheap too.

I have read most of the DS9 books for youth and found them to be lacking (not terrible, but definately lacking). This book is the exception. It is better written and has a great mystery-feeling to it. You keep reading it a quest to discover the answer to the mystery. The conclusion is realistic. By far the most creative of the DS9 youth books as well. Recommended for young fans of Star Trek.
