I have a Sprint, Novatel EX720, and I can now use it on my old pre-express card laptop. I have tried it on more than one plaptop and have not had any problems.

Ordered to use with 2 port usb3.0 express card (same manufacturer). However, it only works with usb 2.0. This was NOT mentioned in the description. I tried to use it, couldn't get it to work, when my tech came in to do network rearrangement, he discovered the problem. I later found these details on the manufacturer's website buried in the fine print specs. Too late to return it. . .
