I bought this for three reasons: my son complains about the 'same old' lunches (yes, I know - he could make his own!); I wanted some different ideas for my own meals; and I wanted low carb ideas so I don't fall asleep in the afternoon. All these needs were met, and more.

There is a super slew of ideas here - whoever would have thought of spinach and balckberries together in a salad? Try it!

I also like the 'safety chapter' - not something usually found in cookbooks - about storage of a packed lunch.

These recipes are a must for those of you like me who are tired of the same lunches, who gets variety by picking a different type of bread to place around their processed meat... From sandwiches to wraps and interesting salads that actually will fill you up, this book is great for inspiration, even if you place your own twist on the end result. Fantastic!

Nicely formatted, easy to follow recipes that anyone can make, experienced cook or not. There's also a nice variety between hand-held lunches and lunches in a container. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that although all the recipes are easy, not everyone will have the ingredients on-hand. Expect to plan ahead to make a few purchases, but well worth the effort!

Absolutely love this. The recipes have plenty of protein- but very little carbohydrates and they're easy, easy, easy to prepare. The formatting is EXCELLENT and the extra tips in there are GREAT. This PERFECT if you're looking for a great healthy meal, yes HEALTHY- not just for low carbs, healthy all-around.

Whether you're looking for a quick, easy lunch/dinner to bring with you to work or on a trip- this is PERFECT. If you're simply looking for healthy, low carb meals for lunch/dinner while you're at home- this is PERFECT.

All-in-all, this "cookbook" is a perfect solution for anyone that wants to eat delicious food with low carbohydrates.

Was a good book and gave me lots of ideas and recipes. My Husband and kids lunches get so boring, day after day the same boring things, but not any more!

Loved the fabulous fiesta pitta and the kids loved the Ants on sticks with a twist! .... This book didn't just give me the recipes it actually really got me thinking outside of the boring lunch box.
