Clear and functional, easy to use with the sectioned map and colour coded regions.
A photograph and clear description of every campsite and the amenities, although a tad more detail on the site's situation might be useful (as in, nearest town, nearest main road/motorway, distance to local landmarks).
Use with the help of an online map to confirm exact situation, and earmark a few sites, and you have a reliable, quick reminder of the campsites of the region you are visiting.
All in all, a great book, which could have done with an extra map simply to mark out the campsites in their respective spots, a job you can do yourself before you leave.

This publication is nicely produced but is notable what how many sites are not in the book rather than the other way round. The first area we looked up showed no sites but they were there. We had to buy another guide. The Michelin.

The general information is very helpful and gives one an indication of the standard to expect. I bought this to plan a winter break hoping to find campsites that would be open all year. Unfortunately out of five sites I initially picked out and emailed for availability, three were closed from October. This guide must have been compiled from informtion provided by the sites but I would suggest that the reader follow it up personally and not rely solely on the information provided.

A Lovely Book
This is a lovely book. I love it. The descriptions of the campsites are excellent. The only criticism is finding the campsite on the map can be a bit of a struggle. Read more
