I think that this is superior to some of the other similar books available. It is easy to use if you are not terribly organised and are just driving along and decide that you want to stay the night in a particular location. It has good maps that illustate where all of the listed sites are in the area and these are easily cross referenced with the part of the book that gives detailed site descriptions. Phone numbers are supplied. The descriptions give you a pretty accurate idea of the general state and feel of the sites.

Excellent road atlas for road travel in Europe. The book is large and somewhat heavy but in the car the size makes for fast and easy reading. It has quality paper, but most importantly, it is spiral bound. I'll use it for the next 5-7 years before replacing it with a newer edition. JP/Texas

I bought this as a backup to my GPS when travelling to Europe. It's a good map that has major highways and minor highways but no city streets or anything like that. It's good for overview look to see where you are in each country. It was good for alternate detour as well as the GPS took me to the most direct route but as we were driving, we saw big storm ahead so we check this map to avoid it. The only thing is this map is notebook bound so you have to check the index pages and know how to look at grids.
