Product Description
Now together in a double pack both Captain Scarlet diecast cars. The Cheetah is a high speed patrol car which has incredible road handling and the capability to glide over obstructions in its way. This is done with the aid of concealed wings that hinge down from the doors and tail fin that elevates from the boot. The Spectrum Saloon Car (SSC) is a 5 seater vehicle with independent four wheel drive capable of speeds of up to 300mph and is powered by a gas turbine. A central housing and rear mounted fin maintain the vehicles stability at speed. Features opening door with seated figure.

Well I remember the original series, and both my son and I have watched the updated show which is of course superior due to the graphics. I bought this product for my 8 year old...honest! We have all but come to rolling dice to see who gets to play with the newer version of Captain Scarlets car - hence the educational value; he's learning to negotiate as well!
The build quality is pretty good and as usual Corgi have managed to produce a toy that can as easily be a display item.
Now let's talk about the Rhino...perhaps best not I nearly had to pay him to let me have a go with that one!

These are quality products just like the others in the series (see my reviews on the angel/falcon interceptors and the SPV/Rhino). One point to bear in mind though is that these are a larger, different scale the the afore mentioned vehicles which is a shame for me as a gamer. These are nearer 28 or 30mm figure scale as opposed to the others being 15mm or 1/72nd scale. However they are very good, robust and well painted. Again I reccomend these to fans of all ages........Pity no one does a Hummingbird or Raid bike, preferably to match in with one of the scales!
