If you have read any of Kresley Cole's "Immortals" series and you are looking for more while you wait for the next one to come out, you can't go wrong with this book.
It is her usual high standard and keeps to the successful formula that she does so well. Fiesty heroine forced to submit to the help of arrogant but gorgeous old world type male.
Nicole is determined to win the Great Circle Boat Race for her father, against their arch business rival Captain Derek Sutherland. However, as they sail in close competition and often have heated encounters, can she resist him and does she really want to? The answer is no and no, of course!
I enjoyed this book as much as the others by Cole that I have read. I have also read the sequel and it's just as good. Like Cole? Buy this book.

I don't normally read historical romances but I read the Sutherland Brothers series and MacCarrick Brothers series as I am a massive fan of Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series. I believe Captain of All Pleasures and Price of Pleasure were Kresley's first books she wrote which were then closely followed by the MacCarrick Brothers Trilogy. I am glad Kresley found her niche with the Immortals After Dark series (which are amazing) however her historical romances are still brilliant and I really enjoyed reading them. I am glad I took the risk and bought the Sutherland Brothers and MacCarrick Brothers books and can honestly say if you haven't read them and are a fan of Kresley's IAD then they are definitely worth the read. The scenes in the books are both steamy and well written and these books have taken pride of place on my bookshelf next to the IAD series.

This is the first book of the series i've read and definately was worth it i couldn't put it down or wait to get to read some more. Great for that holiday or a bit of spice. 'If You Desire' was the second boook i read not as juicy as this one although i've still got to check out the others yet!
