This book was exactly what I was looking for. It gives good, clear advise and guidance to someone thinking of travelling to the Cape Verde Islands without going into vast tracts of detail. This enables you to decide whether this is the destination for you or not, without wading through unneccessary layers of information.

If you are used to the quality delivered by Lonely Planet, you will be disappointed with this book. It is not detailed enough. It's an average read before you leave on you trip. When on location you are better of asking the locals. I regret buying this book.
