4.0 out of 5 stars a fair reflection of true cape malay cookery 14 Oct 2009
Format:Paperback
I used the recipes in this book and found them good and easy to follow. The ingredients were easy to find in a English store, which is not always the case with international cook books

2.0 out of 5 stars Malay Cooking 10 Jun 2004
By zulpha
Format:Paperback
Cape Malay cooking originated within the Muslim community in Cape Town, the food consists of a blend of Malaysian / Indian & Dutch ingredients. Not particular happy with recipes in this book, the ingredients have been altered leaving less of a Cape Malay dish.
