Chaos Legion Greatstuff!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Chaos Legion (PC) (Video Game)
Chaos Legion is chaotic as you might have guessed! The fights are great, furious. The first few levels are good enough to play through at least three times! It can become a little repeatative if you play it too much, as you hack and slash lots, not much else. But if you've just got back from work and want to take out some of that pent up anger, this is the game for you. This is Final Fantasy but turned into an action game instead of rpg. You can summon up an amy of your own, with a feeling like Dynasty Warriors I suppose. Pick this game if your in the mood for action packed gaming.

Hack'n'Slash at its best,

This review is from: Chaos Legion (PC) (Video Game)
A game I've wanted for several years, but had a hard time getting. We all know what Capcom's capable when it comes to hack'n'slash or 3rd person games. Chaos Legion is no exception. It does, however, offer a unique perspective thanks to some elements in the game: you have the legions' aid, which is a very important asset and, if used wisely, you will be pretty much invincible. The amount of foes you need to fight is enormous, quite large compared to other Capcom games. It is enjoyable, nonetheless.
The storyline is well-defined, but has a certain dull element, as it feels very "arcade"-ish. Meaning all you have to do is kick the living daylights out of thousands of monsters, followed by a boss. Should they have paid more attention to the actual story (which is pretty much presented only through cutscenes), it would've been almost the perfect 3rd Person H&S back in the day. It still provides large amounts of entertainment, and if you liked it, you should try X-Blades. Not quite a clone, but an improvement.
