The ink of these cartridges is of adequate quality and are more than acceptable for a home computer. However I do have issues with the compatibility. Once installed my Epson say that it does not recognize the cartridge. I then have to load it on average 3 or 4 times before it is recognised. Each time you reload the ink cartridge, it uses some of the ink. Therefore wasteful. It is not just one colour I have the problem with, but all 4 of them.

I have an Epson BX300F printer as a replacement for a Lexmark Laser Printer, precisely because the cost of the consumables on the Lexmark was so outrageous.

If there is something that you can count on (in addition to the old adage about death and taxes), then it is that printer manufacturers will try to gouge you on the cost of replacement printer cartridges.

The Lexmark would have cost about £200 to replace the ink, which I have to say took my breath away, and so the Epson was a (much) cheaper alternative.

Before I originally bought it I checked on Amazon to see the price of the replacement cartridges and was pleased to come across this listing. These aren't "official" cartridges, because those would cost multiples of what these cost, but they do work just fine for general printing, and honestly, the print quality from these looks great to me.

One thing you should be aware of with inkjet printers (in my opinion) is to NEVER update the drivers (firmware) that comes with the printer. Always install the original firmware / drivers that come on the disk with the printer and don't do it from the internet. This is because the "old" drivers always work fine, but more importantly, they haven't blocked cartridges like this from working with the printer.

I am yet to see a printer driver update that added ANY new features. The "updates" are only ever designed to stop you from using cheap ink cartidges (like these), that aren't made by Epson.

Technically I guess using these invalidates your Epson warranty. But the cost is alll in the cartridge replacement, not the original purchase, so you will have to make up your own mind about that.

In any case, rest assured that for the Epson BX300F printer these cartridges work just dandy!

Product is not compatible with the printer as they stated. We had to purchase others and are sending the ones from Perfect Print back.
After trying to use them the printer would not work and had to be reconfigured costing us yet more money.
The electrical connectors on the cartridges are not the same, we have sent back with the returned parcel some used genuine cartridges for you to compare

Printer won't recognise magenta or cyan cartridges. Yellow and black seem fine but obviously the printer won't print without all four ink cartridges. Of the four purchased, one cyan was recognised. However, after printing the nozzle head check pattern twice the computer informed me that the cyan ink was too low to continue printing. Went out and bought genuine Epson cartridges yesterday and they immediately worked without a problem. I have previously used compatible cartridges to success but I would strongly advise anyone against buying these particular ink cartridges as I have spent several hours attempting to get the printer to recognise them and have not been able to print a single sheet using them. The printer in question is an Epson SX415 which uses T0715 ink.

Either they only contain a minute amount of ink, or the chips on them aren't reliable. I've just spent 2 hours changing cartridges (one or other of the 4 cartridges going 'unrecognised' every 20 or so pages).

I've bought scores of cartridges over the years and this is the first time I've seen cartridges fail this fast and this frequently. Frankly I think that these are faulty - but I bought them months ago, so can't really return them. (also I've wasted about 8 of them already, trying to find some that work.

I notice that only I've reported this problem, so I can't be sure whether I've just been unlucky - but you have been warned :)

Having read a few reviews about non compatibility of these cartridges, I looked at You Tube for potential fixes to error messages such as 'cartridge not recognised' to see if there were any fixes and there are so I plumped for them considering I could possibly fix any error. Only used one so far and it went in the printer which was saying the above error message which seemed to mean in the end that the cartridge was depleted. I put the new yellow one in, it recognised it immediately and back in operation. So pretty confident that the rest will be OK? For the money (so much less that originals) they are very good value.

A good value product. Very good for the price but of course not as good as Epson ink. Great for everyday usage. Will buy again. Tho packaging needs to improve cartridges were hanging out of envelope when delivered.

Well, I installed them, and after several messages about incompatible cartridges, I finally got my SX515w to work. Good. But now the printer refuses to work and states that the cartridges are incompatible. So I can spend another hour or two fiddling about, with no doubt a similar message in the future. Or, I can bin them and order some that work without hassle. Guess which option I chose. I hate messing about with printers for hours.
