5.0 out of 5 stars cool and great balance bike 26 July 2011

My child could go fast enough after 1 day to lift her feet and balance; after 2 weeks let her go on peddle bike without stabilizers, and once i said do the same as the balance bike 1st, she did; then started peddling; and she did!
Great for learning to ride with peddles but may only need a couple of weeks (this was just b4 her 5th bday, only a tiny wobble when not peddling fast enough even after a minute on peddle bike!)
If v tall 5 yr old it may be too short 4 them 2 lift their feet up, but otherwise should do child upto 6 at a push (if not exceptionally tall) I have average height 5 yr old and it was a perfect fit! looks small, but closer too ground helped with confidence; stabilisers had been holding her back 2.
I highly reccomend taking child somewhere flat a couple of times on a balance bike then peddle bike (not 2 high) and NEVER use stabilisers, most children could be riding by 3 or 4 years with these. Amazing invention well done whoever had this brill idea; and thank you!
