I hate to toss in a negative review to contradict the rather positive reviews, but I feel the need to share my thoughts.
I got this after reading the reviews, and even the 1 star didn't seem discouraging to me. All I wanted was a handy multitool that didn't cost a fortune and helped me on the off chance I needed to tweak something. And £4.25 is about as cheap as you can go. That should've got me thinking it can't be that great.
As someone mentioned, the tool gets loose as you use it and requires a separate allen key (or screwdriver with a hex bit) to tighten it - meaning you either carry one with you or pray it doesn't come loose when you need it. And when it comes to needing it... it's an ok tool provided whatever you're trying to do doesn't require too much strength or torque. I got the impression this will burst apart if I use too much strength - and my bike's not brand new so them screws and all can be stubborn.
I don't know about other reviewers but I found the "multi" spanner completely unusable. Why? first of all, the jaws are somewhat shallow and the nut tends to slip out of them if you apply too much force. Then there's the overall arrangement on a rather short arm, with the probably most needed size 15 placed in the middle for extra reduced leverage when trying to take off your wheel -- if you can even manoeuvre it to the nut (having to disassemble the back shifter just to get closer to the wheel is ridiculous). Since it's placed to one side the tool only fits in one way and can only be locked to push one way... and god forbid that a stubborn nut suddenly gets loose cos then your fingers slam against the gear block/frame/whatever. there's a few more things I could say, but I won't. overall, just stay away from the "spanner" unless you have plenty of room around the bolt/nut and it's easy to get off.
I suppose the three sockets could be handy, but probably not in most bikes - would be much handier if a size 15 socket was provided to replace the joke of a spanner. screwdrivers always useful bike or not, and pouch is quite ok. I can't comment on the patches and tyre levers as I didn't have to use them yet.
