This book is not only a personal autobiography by Eric Cantona, but a lesson of life for everybody, he speaks of emotions, who we are and what sort of person we are. Basically not only are you reading about Eric Cantona's life but you find yourself comparing his words to your own.

There is nothing more to be said...

Format:Hardcover
This is a book written in a fairly unusual, quant and flowery sort of way. It traces Cantona's life from childhood to midway through his career at Manchester United. He is man with strong views and clear family values. He clearly does not suffer fools lightly. He has clearly had disagreements with former clubs and the French FA. Some of the insights into managers such as Howard Wilkinson interesting. His description of United is fairly diplomatic in comparison and that is no doubt because he was still at the Club when this was published. This books was published ebfore the incident at Crystal palace and before he retired. It is a book which would have benefited by waiting a few years. It was written too soon. Probably pretty good for its time but if buying in 2011, you would want something a bit more up to date than this which convered his whole career at Old Trafford and what he has bene doing since.

Relive Cantona's Life 18 Feb 2000
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
In this book, Cantona's whole life story is re-told. How he spent his life as a Cantona & the hardships behind it. It then revolves of how young he started playing soccer & also how he had to sacrifice leaving his family behind. He managed to kick-start his professional career with a top French Club & it wasn't long before he made all the controversial headlines.

He settled down with his wife who was older than him. His antics and arguments with certain players left him out cold of the French National Team of which he never managed to shine on the international soccer arena. His soccer career then took him to England, of where honours awaited him.
