I thought this was really good, really enjoyed watching it. Keeley Hawes is brilliant as Emily, plus fantastic performances from John Simm and Chiwetel Ejiofor and Ace and Paul respectively. Probably my favourite of all six episodes from the series.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Telling Of Famous Tales., 20 Nov 2008
By Ms. J. F. Gilby "Film Lover" (bexhill, uk) - See all my reviews

I am a fan of John Simm when I came across this and had to check it out. It's about two men (Simm and Chiwetel Ejiofor) who are best mates and are in jail serving their time. But when a pretty teacher comes along played by the very annoying Keeley Hawes, they become bitter enemies and fight for the woman they have fallen in love with which ends in a terrible tradgey. It's a very good telling of the infamous tales but the script is qutie poor and ends a little weakly. Not bad if you are a fan of either of the stars which do very well in their pefomances but it's qutie short and upsetting when the ends comes about.
