It feels like a high-quality garment, and has some lighter-mesh areas in order to let of steam a bit better. The added detail on the fore-arms certainly looks the part! The fit is good - tight, the way compression wear is supposed to be.
I'm using it for indoor climbing & bouldering, to stop the pump coming on so fast. I'm unsure of the 'recovery' benefits exactly, and I'm aware that the scientific data on this aspect is lacking, but it does seem to reduce the rate at which blood builds up in the forearm, so allows me to carry on a bit longer, and practice more techniques to reduce my dependence on my arms. Using it has allowed me to up the number of weekly sessions from 1-2, to 3-4 quite easily. I can't say how much of this is placebo, rather than performance though!
