This is a good album with unusual but interesting songs. It has a more blues or country sound than some Holly Golightly albums. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to those who like Holly's work. However it may not be as immediately appealing as some of her other albums so would probably not be the first of her albums you should buy.

This has a lovely, bluesy feel to it, and is certainly one of my favourite albums of the year. I don't know too much about her other stuff, so I don't know what the other reviewers were expecting, but if you like quirky, laid back, good lyrics, edgy...this ticks all these boxes.
I can't stop listening to Deveil Do, it's such a great track, and all the others are great too.

A surprisingly excellent album with shades of CW Stoneking and Tom Waits.

Holly Golightly has always put out records that are a bit boring.I am a fan (laugh it up and serial girl are great)but this one is probably my least favourite. It sounds amateurish and unfocused.Avoid
