Phyllis Hyman was the soul diva of the 70s and 80s, known also as The Goddess Of Love and recorded great love songs and enthusiastic uptempos of both a soulful and jazz nature for Buddah, Arista and Philadelphia International. Can t We Fall In Love Again is one of her most classic albums and is presented here for the first time on a CD with all the additional tracks recorded for this session but originally omitted due to time restrictions on the vinyl issue on Arista in 1981. Album includes Don t Tell Me Tell Her, a duet with Michael Henderson on the title track, I m Not Asking You To Stay and a feast of great soul music produced by Chuck Jackson and the legendary Norman Connors.

This fabulous new album contains twenty-four of the classics written in the 1970s and 1980s by Soul and Disco producer Ian Levine.
Included with the album is a DVD of video performances of the 24 tracks from the album plus an additional 6 'bonus' tracks.
These are not the original versions. These are brand spanking new interpretaions of the classics, by Ian Levine's current roster of artists on Centre City Records.

Can't We Fall in Love Again [IMPORT]... the late great phyllis hyman, i had this album when it was first out on lp....long time ago now...lol it still sounds as stunning now as it did then, if you dont have any of phyllis hyman's albums then in my book this is the best place to start, every track is like drinking hot choc on a cold night, just stunning and a voice to die for, it still brings me great joy after all the years now to put this cd on and just sit back and listen to a lady who was a master at her craft. get this cd and you will then want more from this stunning lady with a voice that has left a massive hole in the world. every track is a gem and leaves you wanting more........................enjoy
