4.0 out of 5 stars Satisfied, 27 Dec 2002
By Graham (Sant Cugat Del Valles, Barcelona Spain) - See all my reviews
This book is one of the best in the genre of blues biographies. Despite the years that have past since Muddy's departure I was left with the feeling that I had known the great man himself. An intimate but respectful view of "the life and times" of one of the greatest historical figures in blues history.

5.0 out of 5 stars best blues book ever, 17 Jun 2008

(REAL NAME)
every rumour, truth, fact and half truth of the muddy waters legend is examined in a book that is as easy to read as watching a movie. all the great sidemen get their moment in history detailed too. My favourite is all the great harp players. this should be a movie like Ray. Excellent Stuff. packed with pages excellent value
