The Canon PIXMA MP970 Photo All-in-One Inkjet Printer lets you preview, scan, copy, and print photographs and documents with one easy machine. This All-in-one printer features a compact, streamlined design that can preview images in high resolution on its 3.5-inch TFT display, scan beautiful images with colour resolutions up to 9600 by 2400 dpi, or print photos directly from memory cards, cameras, DV camcorders, or mobile phones in seconds.

The printer's Easy Scroll Wheel makes operation a breeze. The Auto-Image Fix feature ensures that every photo is clear and vivid, even when scanning difficult items such as thick notebooks or faded images to result in stunning color resolutions up to 4800 by 9600 dpi. Picolitre size

The size of the ink droplets can vary, and it is this that you quite often see quoted in printer specifications as a Pico litre rating (pl). The Smaller the nozzle jet, the tinier the ink drop, so the more detailed the print image will be.

Ink tanks/Cartridges

To minimise ink wastage and protect the environment, Canon’s Single Ink system uses transparent, individually replaceable single colour ink tanks. Each tank incorporates an LED that flashes slowly to indicate when ink is low, or rapidly when the tank is empty. To ensure hassle-free installation, the LED also indicates when a tank is incorrectly installed.

Scroll Wheel

The Easy-Scroll Wheel is rotated to operate the printer and make selections from the menu, displayed on a high quality colour TFT screen.
