Built-in technologies for both Apple and Window users

Built-in CaptureOnTouch lite software provides easy and effective scanning, including simple one touch operation for routine tasks such as scan-to-email or scan-to-desktop. It also lets mobile executives scan from other people’s Macs without installing an intrusive driver or new application.

Users can scan and import business cards directly into their contacts file as well as enabling better filing, management and retrieval of electronic files using Canon’s other applications (supplied on the accompanying disk) such as BizCard Reader and PaperPort.

The P-150M offers multi-platform compatibility by effortlessly interfacing with PCs, Macs Linux platforms. It also contains a Mac TWAIN driver for easy use with other Mac applications.

The P-150M works seamlessly with Macs and the software supplied reflects this. However, the P-150M is also compatible with a PC. To use with a PC simply install the PC driver from the disk supplied or from the Canon website. For PC users who require full ‘plug and scan’ software, the P-150 includes a TWAIN driver and CaptureOnTouch software specifically designed for PC users.
