This scanner really is a great little tool - especially for the home office when space is at a premium, and if you need to scan whilst on the move, it is the perfect tool.
It's sleek and attractive, easy to use - the perfect scanner!
The scanner has an automatic duplex - it scans both sides without having to re-insert the document and holds up to 20 pages at a time - and it's so tiny, folds down to just under 10cm.
It runs from a single USB port and you can use the mains too.
I expected it to be a little slow, but it was really fast and seemed no slower than larger scanners that I've used. The documents went through smoothly, with no creasing or jamming and the quality of the scanned picture is top class.
Very very simple for anyone to set up and to use - I didn't have to use the enclosed disc when using the scanner with my notepad, it was all up and running within minutes.
This is an excellent product, sleek and attractive, easy to use with great quality finished products.

I'm annoyed that I have to use a scanner at all (why not just send me stuff by email?), but given the fact that I need to scan quite a few things, I need a scanner. I had an earlier Canon scanner that worked OK, but took too much space sitting on my desktop. I bought this one on the basis that it was small. I've found it convenient from a size perspective, but it is also easy to hook up, scans great and even the included software is OK. Speed is good and really useful to be able to scan front/back at same time. Only slight negative point was that it claimed to support Mac, but it doesn't support Mac out of the box and I had to go to the web to figure out how to make it work.

I was looking at the Fujitsu Scansnap products as i had them recommended to me, however i saw this scanner mentioned on evernotes forums, and after a bit of research decided this was the scanner for me as it is faster and cheaper than the ScanSnap S1300 and has standard twain drivers and i got a discounted price from amazon.

When i first set it up and installed the software my heart sank as it reported an error on every scan and failed to scan anything, but after a reboot it has been rock solid ever since. the design of this product is spot on and the size of it is dinky. and to scan into Evernote (which is where i wanted my scans to go) this product in my eyes is unbeatable.

the speed of it is fantastic, on its first outing i scanned over 2000 bills that i had lying around the house in less than two hours, all i can tell you is it took longer to shred them than scan them.

towards the end of the mammoth scan task the scanner did double feed the documents, but i removed the feed roller and the seperator pad and washed them as they had accumulated a bit of toner and dust from the paper, and there has been no more double feeds since. the consumables for this scanner are dirt cheap unlike the scansnap consumables and i have already ordered a couple of seperator pads and feed rollers, but i doubt i will need them for a long time.

I love the fact i can just pop in the multi-page bill and hit the start button, and it scans the document performs full OCR and uploads directly into evernote and within 5 minutes i can see the new document on my ipad, it has totally revolutionised my life, no more searching for two hours through all my paperwork for that one bill or document.

i would heartily recommend this scanner to anybody who like me wants to go paperless. its easily one of the best designed products, its not cheap for a scanner but so worth it.

now if only i could line up the scanner so it scans the documents and feeds directly into the shredder :)
