I upgraded from Canon Ixus 960IS so knew what to expect from a underwater housing. The WP-DC34 is 50% bigger and can be a bit cumbersome but you soon get used to it. The buttons are well laid out and accessed easily. It is good housing and it allows you to use all the functions of the G12 underwater, which should be the must have of any UW housing.
One thing to know before taking it under water: the housing is POSITIVELY buoyant and will float somewhere above your head and possibly get entangled in your regs....You need to buy the compensator weights as extra and you will need all four of them to make the G12 and housing neutraly. Canon knows this is a problem so should have provided them with the housing...
I had a small leak on my first dive to 8m. After taking the O-ring out and cleaning and silicone greasing it, it has been fine so far but can't help but checking for any leakage every so often, having become paranoid now!

I recently bought the G11 and the case together for a diving trip to egypt. The waterproof case is a good piece of kit especially as you are able to control most of the functions whilst the camera is in the case. I would throughly recomend this case to anyone with the pictures taken being of brillant quality.

I had to get a replacement casing and amazon were amazing, lol, as they negotiated the warranty refund, sent me my replacement within a very quick turn around time.

Works really well, gives access to all camera functions and most importantly keeps the camera dry. The buoyancy counterbalance weights are a must.
