Why wait to print the perfect photo of a special occasion? The SELPHY CP800 is ready to go immediately after being switched on and can produce a lab-quality, postcard-size print in as little as 47 seconds. You can also print your photos in a range of different sizes, including standard postcard, passport or credit card sizes – or create fun, miniature-size stickers.*
Long-lasting 100 year prints
Canon technology produces bright, vibrant prints that – when stored in an album – will retain their quality for up to 100 years. Prints are dry to the touch from the moment they emerge, and protected from spills, splashes and sticky fingers by a special glossy layer.
Easy image adjustment
When printing from memory card, Automatic Image Optimisation detects faces in an image and corrects their brightness – while ensuring that backgrounds stay natural and well exposed. Auto Red-Eye Correction lets you easily remove the red-eye effect sometimes caused by flash photography.
6.2cm (2.5”) colour LCD
A bright, angled 6.2cm (2.5”) type TFT colour LCD screen provides a user-friendly way to select, preview and print images from memory card or change print settings in seconds.
Print ID photos at home
You can print your own ID photos without having to leave the house with ID Photo layout. This feature also automatically arranges a variety of different sized images on one sheet, allowing them to be usable for ID photos in countries where size standards may differ.
Shuffle Layout
With built-in Shuffle layout print, multiple images are automatically arranged in an original, interesting way to produce great-looking montages – perfect for special gifts. All you need to do is simply select your images and your collage is complete.

There are only two down sides: 1) the pack of paper and cartidges is relatively expensive, buy 4 and you have exceeded the price of the printer.
2) It works well from the camera or a USB memory stick. However if you want load photos from a computer, the software supplied only lets you select from one directory. If you switch directories, you lose any photos selected in the other directories. Despite playing around with this for a while, I found the best solution was to transfer the selected photos onto a USB stick and go from there.
