I found this book easier to use than the camera's user manual, the book reads well and is generally uncomplicated but you have to use the camera - reading it and then going to the camera is a waste of time - you simply won't remember and won't be able to apply it.

Very handy book, easy to understand. It's helped me to see more of what my camera can do. I'm one who occasionally needs a visual and this book provides just that. It's nice to have a book that is stricly for MY camera.I would highly recommend this book and for the price, is a very good deal.

Great book for a new photographer or a seasoned photography. Lots of the ins and outs of the XS. Great camera tips for getting that perfect picture. Not quiet as "layman" and "here's what you do" as the Scott Kelby books, but a great book for the XS.
